Hi! I’m Meg, a University of Chicago trained licensed clinical social worker in the states of Illinois, New York, Texas and the District of Columbia. Making the decision to seek therapy, and finding the right provider for yourself are big steps on the path to intentional change. I do not take for granted the meaning a therapeutic relationship can hold and see the work as a privilege. Like any healthy relationship, the therapeutic connection has to be rooted in trust. I hope to earn that trust with you by being present and engaged in our work. You will find that I use a collaborative, insight oriented and solution focused approach to treatment. With me you can expect warmth, humor when appropriate, a direct approach, empathy and relational dialogue.
I work with clients to build coping skills and strategies, strengthen communication techniques, and reduce symptoms associated with mood concerns and/or traumatic experiences. I see you as the expert on your life, and want to help you deepen your understanding of your feelings, your relationship to yourself and others, and to meet your goals.
Over the course of my career, I’ve developed skill in helping clients through individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, navigating challenging organizational systems, and self-advocacy work. My professional experiences include Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Prentice Women’s Hospital, and Northwestern University’s Counseling & Psychological Services. I am a former adjunct faculty member and current advisory board member for Northwestern University’s School of Communication Pritzker Pucker Studio Lab for the Promotion of Mental Health via Cinematic Arts.

Hello, I’m Michele, a University of Chicago trained licensed clinical social worker in the states of Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. I understand that seeking therapy is often both a courageous and vulnerable experience, and am so glad you have found our website! As a therapist, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is fundamental to our work together in exploring and supporting who you want to become.
I pivoted a 13 year career in higher education where I worked with undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty and staff, to therapy and consulting work. Building on my experiences teaching, facilitating, advocating, and navigating complex systems, I’ve grown additional skills in individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention. My personal style is both direct and warm, and I practice client centered and relational therapy that is grounded in anti-oppressive practices.
In addition to therapeutic work, I co-founded Dynamic Cooperative, a cross-identity collective that works to build the capacity of individuals, teams, and organizations who are committed to the practice of social justice within their unique contexts. Our work includes: white accountability spaces, anti-oppressive facilitation training, and LGBTQIA+ education.
If you are interested in working with me in this capacity, please visit my website: dynamiccooperative.com

Hi, I’m Katelyn, a University of Michigan trained licensed social worker in the state of Illinois. As someone who has sat on both sides of the therapist’s office, I deeply believe that healing is possible for everyone. I view the main vehicle for this change as connection: with me, with yourself, with your body, with others in your life, with your environment, and with broader structures and social movements. It’s important to me to understand and address how power, oppression, and your multifaceted identities influence your life, as none of us heal in a vacuum.
Our therapeutic relationship will be an important tool in our work. As your therapist, I will invest in building a safe and trustworthy relationship over time, through curiosity, authenticity, and transparency. My goal is that all parts of you feel seen and understood as I support you in becoming your best self.
I believe that you are the expert of your life, not me. Accordingly, I embrace a style that is humble and non-judgmental, centering your consent and prizing dialogue rather than directives. I approach the work with compassion, flexibility, creativity, and (sometimes) even jokes.
In our time together, I will partner with you to meet your goals and honor your unique strengths. I want to help you develop insight into your emotions and relationships, clarify your values, situate your experiences within larger patterns and contexts, and cultivate the skills to center your life around what helps you feel most authentic and free.
In my eight years of providing direct services, I have worked with clients through individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, survivor advocacy, and Title IX advising. I have provided these services in private practice, higher education, and community-based nonprofit settings. I have particularly enjoyed working with young and emerging adults; artists and creatives; activists and organizers; graduate students; and people in the helping professions. In addition to my current work in private practice, I am a PhD candidate in social work and sociology at the University of Michigan writing a dissertation on innovative prevention approaches to campus sexual harm.
My clinical specialties include:
Sex- and Kink-Positive Support for Sexual Health and Pleasure
Trauma Informed Care
Body Image and Eating Concerns
Family of Origin Concerns
Religious Trauma and Deconstruction
Disability, Neurodivergence, and Chronic Illness
Identity Development and Exploration
Sexual and Relationship Harm
